Cumulus Cup Poreč – Para & Waterski Competition
An interdisciplinary sports competition that connects skydiving and water sports, with the aim of promoting sports, active living and the destination Poreč through attractive, but organizationally and safety-controlled sports formats.
The Cumulus Cup Poreč – Para & Waterski Competition project is designed as an interdisciplinary sports event that connects parachuting disciplines and water sports, creating a unique competitive and promotional format tailored to a wider audience, athletes and the local community.
The competition was held in Poreč from 2021 to 2023, organized by the Cumulus Aeroclub, with coordination of sporting, logistical and safety activities on land, in the air and on water. The project required a high level of operational coordination, precise planning and implementation of safety procedures in accordance with the applicable sports and aviation regulations.
Through this project, Aeroclub Cumulus demonstrated its ability to design and implement innovative sports formats that go beyond classic competitions, while at the same time maintaining high standards of safety, sporting regularity, and organizational professionalism.
Cumulus Cup Poreč played a significant role in the promotion of sports and an active lifestyle, as well as in positioning Poreč as a destination capable of hosting complex and interdisciplinary sports projects.

Rezime
The Cumulus Cup Poreč project was realized with the institutional and financial support of the Central State Office for Sports in 2021 and 2022, which was later merged with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Croatia, as part of the program for the development of sports and sports events.
