Parachute tour - promotion of destinations and revitalization of airport locations
A sports-promotional project that promotes tourist destinations through organized skydiving activities and encourages the revitalization of airport and takeoff and landing locations throughout the Republic of Croatia.
The parachute tour represents a multi-year sports and promotional project of the Cumulus Aeroclub, designed with the aim of promoting tourist destinations, strengthening the visibility of local communities and activating airport and landing sites.
The project is implemented through organized parachute activities, demonstration jumps and accompanying sports programs, adapted to the specifics of individual destinations and infrastructure locations. Through this approach, skydiving is used as an attractive, but controlled and safe tool for promoting outdoor space and activities.
The skydiving tour has so far been realized in numerous locations throughout the Republic of Croatia, including Osijek, Vukovar, Vinkovci, Slavonski Brod, Beli Manastir, Daruvar, Bjelovar, Varaždin, Čazma, Vrsar, Medulin, Unije, Mali Lošinj, Brijuni, Pula, Opatija, Krk and Poreč.
The project has a strong development component as it encourages cooperation between sports organizations, local governments and tourist boards, while simultaneously highlighting the potential of the existing aviation infrastructure.
In the coming period, further strengthening and expansion of the project is planned, including new destinations and partnership models.
