Our members came up with various ideas, some ideas that had realistic frameworks were translated into reality.
Many ideas are still in the development and planning stages, we believe that they will be realized when all the necessary prerequisites are in place. Take a look at the projects we have implemented so far.

SKYDIVE TOUR - CROATIA
Aeroclub "Cumulus" - Opatija is one of the initiators of the revitalization program of neglected, former sports, military and agricultural airports across Croatia, and the program of connecting them into a network of small airports for sports, tourism and emergency purposes.
With the parachute tour project, we want to raise the level of awareness among citizens and local governments about this valuable potential.
Our general plan is to start the tour of Istria, with jumps in Umag, Poreč, Vrsar, Rovinj, Pula, then move on to the section on the islands of Unije, Mali Lošinj, Krk, Rab, Pag, then jumps on the former military runway Šepurine, Zadar, Šibenik - where we would particularly emphasize the importance of Faust Vrančić for parachuting, then we would continue jumps on Hvar, Brač, Vis, then in the Neretva River valley, Dubrovnik and Konavle. From the far south we would return via the route through the Dalmatian hinterland via Imotski, Sinj, Drniš, then via Lika from Otočac to Željava near Plitvice. The next section would be through Posavina from Sisak, Slavonski Brod, to Županja, then along the Danube from Ilok, via Vukovar to Batina, and then the return through Podravina from Osijek via Virovitica, Koprivnica to Varaždin and Čakovec, and the final return via Zagreb, Zabok, Karlovac, Grobnik, Rijeka with a final jump in Opatija.

FLY CROATIA
Croatian Air Tourism Program
Aviation tourism is an underutilized tourism branch of the Republic of Croatia, given the existing potential of the European Union (EU) market of around 100,000 private, sport aircraft, around 300,000 airmen and potential annual revenues of 40 million EUR. The potential of nautical tourism was also untapped until the construction of the ACI marina in the 1980s. The basic idea of how to start organized aviation tourism in Croatia is based on activating the existing (abandoned or underutilized) 21 sports airports in 13 counties owned by the Republic of Croatia and building the first specialized tourist resort with an airstrip in Zadar County. This resort would serve as a departure and arrival point from which guest airmen would travel with their private aircraft, rent-a-car vehicles or charter vessels to explore our cultural and natural heritage through an organized system of tourist and sports experiences throughout the Republic of Croatia.

Cumulus Cup - Para & WaterSki
Accuracy Landing skydive Competition and water skiing
Porec 2014
The idea of the Para & Water Ski Cumulus Cup has been around for a few years. But this year we have agreed to cooperate with the Poreč Skilift from Zelena Laguna and have organized a very interesting biathlon competition in parachute jumps and water skiing. Given the very good mood of the participants, the very attractive location and the good cooperation with the Skilift team, we plan to strengthen this competition in every way for next year.

Skydive Photo Contest
Skydive Photography Competition
Lošinj 2009 | Opatija-Ičići 2011 | Lošinj 2011 | Lošinj 2012 | Lošinj 2013
The idea of the Cumulus Skydive Photo Contest was to bring skydiving closer to citizens and tourists, to promote the tourist destination over which we perform jumps, to promote adrenaline tourism and of course to promote our club, but also the sponsors who recognized our ideas. We have been implementing these projects since 2009 and we are sure that in the coming years we will capture many beautiful skydiving shots over the whole of Croatia.

Cumulus Cup
natjecanje padobranaca u skokovima na cilj
Opatija 2012

Aerodrom Vis

Parachuting school

In addition to these rights, we are also authorized to train parachuting teachers and tandem instructors. More than 90% of participants successfully complete our school, and our young licensees, after obtaining their license for independent jumping, join sports teams practicing disciplines that appeal to them.

Boogie
Organized skydive jumps from 4000 m
Porec | Losinj | Vrsar
Boogie is the common name for larger, organized skydiving, where jumps are performed from higher altitudes, usually 4,000 m; On a boogie, you can perform training jumps, practice jumps, fun jumps, and the popular tandem jump with an instructor. We were the organizers of the boogie in Poreč, and in recent years we have also done it in Vrsar and Lošinj.
